A Dog’s Life

Dogs have been an important part of my life since I was a little girl. So, naturally when I began life in the real world all on my own, a dog came with me. I started this grand adventure with Muffin the Wonder Poodle, a small red poodle with a personality big enough to fill Nashville. You think Juliet Barnes is a diva on the TV show “Nashville”? Well, you never met Muffin.

Muffin moved to Nashville with me in 2001 and shared a lot of ups and downs as we grew up and grew older. Sadly, Muffin passed away in May 2014 after a short battle with cancer.

In September 2014, I adopted Mac, a 2-year-old Maltese, from Agape Animal Rescue. A sweet, good natured guy who is always ready for the next adventure, he’s added a lot of excitement and joy to my life.

You better believe that any dog who lives in my house is going to have something to say. That was true for Muffin, and soon it will be for Mac. Be sure to check back for posts about Mac’s latest adventures.
